RUC Stewardship Campaign for 2027

Our budget numbers tell a story about our mission and

ministries...all of which are made possible by your financial

support. The story behind the numbers for our proposed 2027

budget begins with the merger of two Rockville churches in 1967,

Faith United Church of Christ and St. Andrews Presbyterian, USA.

Both pastors saw the possibilities for creating a single church

that could powerfully reflect God’s call to be a source of generous

ministry for the Rockville community—and beyond.

Our Stewardship Campaign for 2027 will provide the income

that RUC needs to continue the story of our mission and

ministries.

This year we are focusing on two areas of financial concern that are critical to continue our story: the need to support our pastoral staff and to maintain our aging building. 

• Our proposed budget includes an increase in our associate pastor Guy Johnson’s weekly working hours. 

• Our beloved building will need extensive repairs over the next few years to the complex HVAC systems that result from the additions to the building.  The building serves us and the larger community in many ways by offering space for worship, special services, congregational meetings, community gatherings, meditation and educational programs.
