Our Lenten Small Groups
begin the week of 2/27 and contine for 5 weeks. Have you ever wished you were less reactive? That you could respond to people and situations calmer and more peaceful?
Let it RAIN: Learning to Love Yourself and the World with the Practice of RAIN, is based on the book Radical Compassion by Tara Brach.
This Lenten series is practical and experiential, a way to go within during this contemplative season of Lent. Want to know more? Watch the hour-long video with Tara Brach explaining RAIN.

Ash Wednesday - February 22
Drop-By Time at RUC—11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Stop by the church for a time of quiet reflection, personal prayer, and an invitation to receive ashes. Pastors Scott and Jennifer will be available if you wish to receive a mark of ashes or pray together. We will meet in the Sanctuary. Rev. Jean Brown of Earthen Hands Ministry at Dayspring will join us, and invites you to watch as she throws pottery at her wheel. Come for a few minutes or stay as long a you like.
Ash Wednesday Worship Service (Online) 7:00 pm
Join us for a worship service centered on the symbolism of earthly humus as we reflect on our human fragility in light of God’s eternal love and grace. The service includes music, prayer, an invitation to mark your forehead with ashes. You are invited to use soil, an extinguished match, or olive oil to represent the ashes. Continuing our tradition of shared worship we will be joined by Rev. Katie Pocalyko and members of Living Faith Lutheran Church.
Our Sunday worship services are held in a hybrid fashion. The online participants begin to gather at 10:30.
Worship begins in the Sanctuary at 10:45. Join us!
