Congregational Care

What We Do

Supports members and those they love during times of crisis, hardship or illness

Adds to our Pastor's care with hospital visits and informal visits at home

Arranges for meals, transportation, or small grants when members cannot cook, need medical care, or face emergencies

Connects us via cards, calls, texts, and many kinds of prayer

Supports families in times of bereavement and transition, for example, with letters, cards, and quarterly calls; memorial gifts; and life-planning grants

Helps organize memorial services and the receptions that follow

Expands the church's circle of care via special projects, occasional seminars, and sharing resources with other church groups

How to Get Involved!

We have many ways to love and encourage our congregation.  These are just a few:

  • Prepare, deliver, or buy meals for those who are ill

  • Write birthday, sympathy, valentine, congratulations, or get well cards - or call, email, text, or visit

  • Provide a ride to doctor or physical therapy appointments or church

  • Say a prayer in worship, on Facebook, or by email
