Are You (or a Loved One) Standing in the Need of Prayer?

So—how do we as a congregation know for whom we need to pray? You have seen the inserts in the Sunday Worship bulletin—the list of those whom we hold dear in our prayers. To add a name, of course you can respond to Rev. Clark's invitation during the service. You can also just call the office  at (301) 424-6733 and let them know briefly for whom you request the prayers, and a phrase indicating how this person is connected to you, and what the situation is. Even better would be a call to Rev. Winnette or to Frank Molony of the Congregational Care Committee so that they can better understand the whole context, and also help coordinate a caring, care-full range of response where that is appropriate.

You can also let the office know when it is time to remove a prayer request from the printed list!
