We are united in our willingness to share
the pulpit and let all voices be heard. We are united in our openness
to change, while respecting our strong and diverse worship tradition.
RUC's intergenerational, Bible-centered worship
services are fun, creative, and unique. By featuring different speakers,
activities and themes, we strive to make services meaningful for
all ages. After attending services at RUC, people leave feeling
uplifted; connected to the church community; cared for and supported;
and connected to God.
Music is a special part of worship. We use a variety
of styles, voices and instruments to praise God. Our youth and adult
choirs and musicians lead the congregation in making a "joyful
noise unto the Lord our God" in a way that really touches and
moves people.
Worship services at RUC reflect both the traditional
heritage of our reformed faith and a contemporary feel that accents
the arts; and offers timely and relevant messages for the congregation.
Each week much care goes into the aesthetics of the worship space.
The Chancel Committee decorates the worship space in ways that bring
the morning's theme to life.
We celebrate the sacrament of The Lord's Supper
monthly, and rejoice when baptizing a child or adult.
In recognition of peoples' need for reflection
and a place of refuge in these fast-paced times, our sanctuary is
open before the service for silent meditation.
Please join us on any Sunday and experience all
that RUC has to offer you.
