Why Do People Pledge?

Gratitude
God has blessed me so much.

Our church touches the lives of so many.

Morality
Giving is the right thing to do, commanded by God.

Faith
To make my faith tangible by stepping out in a new way.

Children
So our church will help raise children grounded in God’s love.

Tithing
I want to give back a portion of what God has given me.

The Holy Spirit

God has moved me to pledge.

Justice
Our church is bringing love and justice to a world in need.

Hope
God’s work is the greatest investment of all.

Clergy
For counseling, a visit in the hospital—sharing the Word of God in worship (sermons).

Music
To add voices and instruments to our worship experience.

Mission
To carry God’s message into the world.

Hospitality
So our church will be an inviting, safe place for each visitor.

Christian Education

So children and adults learn more about and draw closer to God.

Christmas and Easter

If I come to church twice a year, the church will be there.
