Rockville United Church

Fellowship

We are united in our acceptance of others from all walks of life and various social, political and faith backgrounds.

RUC believes in having fun together in a caring, loving atmosphere. We are an active church, with many social opportunities throughout the year. Following Sunday services we meet in the Fellowship Hall for light refreshments, good conversation, and sometimes even entertainment. Formal social activities include:

Men's Breakfast: Meets the 3rd Saturday of each month from 8:15 am. until 9:30 a.m. at IHOP in Rockville.

RUCus for women: Meets for breakfast and fellowship the 2nd Saturday of month at 8:30am at Mosaic Cuisine and Cafe, 186 Halpine Rd., Rockville.

Camp Pecometh: Annual intergenerational retreat weekend. Each fall, about 100 people gather on the Chester River to worship, rest, study, and enjoy nature's offerings together.

Sanctuary Choir: Welcomes all. Rehearses on Thursdays at 7:30 pm.

Terrific Tuesday in July: A new approach to Bible Camp! Merges faith and fellowship for all ages from 6:30-8:30. Shared with Crusader Lutheran Church.

Children's Enrichment: Meets during the second part of the worship service for crafts and stories. For children 1st-3rd grades.
