Are You (or a Loved One) Standing in the Need of Prayer?

So—how do we as a congregation know for whom we need to pray? You have seen the inserts in the Sunday Worship bulletin—the list of those whom we hold dear in our prayers. To add a name, of course you can respond to Dr. Newcomer’s invitation during the service. You can also just call the office and let Della or Shirley know briefly for whom you request the prayers, and a phrase indicating how this person is connected to you, and what the situation is. Even better would be a call to Dr. Newcomer or to Frank Molony of the Congregational Care Committee so that they can better understand the whole context, and also help coordinate a caring, care-full range of response where that is appropriate.

You can also let us know (Della or Shirley or Duncan or Frank) when it is time to remove a prayer request from the printed list!
